☇ Day 1: Favourite Female Character - C. A. Cupid
"Behold, C.A. Cupid, adopted daughter of Eros, the god of love ♥"
Everyone needs to sit the fuck down and listen to me, because I’ve had it up to HERE with people giving him shit.
Be warned, there are spoilers, so if you haven’t seen the movie, like this or something and read it later when you’re screaming at Hans and notice that he’s actually perfect.
Hans was advertised before the film as “The Nice Guy” and as the perfect guy Anna was looking for. People are criticizing that Disney lied about it, well no shit. It was a tool to make you believe he was good so you wouldn’t suspect the climax of the film! I don’t remembering there being such a huge freak out over Turbo in Wreck it Ralph, or any other villains like Gaston, Urusla, Scar, etc. People love them for being evil, Why not Hans?
Fans can’t post anything about Hans without people commenting “That asshole” or “I can’t believe Anna trusted him” etc. Someone reposted my edit (no credit) and I read a lot of comments on how the person who made the edit must’ve been stupid and not seen the movie since it had Hans and Anna depicting they were in love. (Edit below)
I had to note that people who had not seen the film were being told from advertising that they were a couple.
Back on track. Hans is a very different villain, we are shown how he betrays Anna and it teaches you that appearances aren’t everything. I think if we were given more of a backstory on him like his life growing up we would understand why he was so evil; because I don’t think he was incredibly bad to start with. In my opinion, he went to Arendelle and realized that there was an open opportunity and seized it.
I just don’t get it. People hate Hans with a burning passion when really, he is depicting a realistic villain that teaches kids that looks aren’t everything.
Done with my rant. I just think Hans is a spectacular character and deserves his own sequel.
Ever After High 30 Day Challenge Day 3 - Favourite Webisode: Here Comes Cupid
So much Cupid cuteness. Hopper cuteness. Plus neither Apple nor Raven is in this episode, and while I adore them, it was kind of a nice break.
